Derek Semmler Interviews me for Dad Balance

I have a rather comprehensive interview this month over at at Dad ... . Derek Semmler, who is always so cool anyway, was nice enough to ask me for the interview. I was happy and honored to do it. I discuss my views on family and being a dad. Let me know what you think of it.

WOW Damien! What a great interview! Normally interviews are so superficial, but I have really learned a lot more about you. I think you’re views of family and balancing everything are spot on, my friend!! it’s not an easy thing to do, but you seem to be doing it well.

Thanks Rock Chi ;)  I appreciate you saying that!  I tried to be real, and Sarah read it too so it must be somewhat accurate ;)  Fatherhood, being a husband, work, these are not for cowards.

Your interview was more than just a good reminder to dads (and moms, for that matter),  it was a partial how-to with things like the notepad and accepting your wife as a barometer (if not at that moment). Enjoyed reading it.

I think had blogging been more available when my generation was raising kids, more fathers would have been in tune with their children.  Awareness of how others live can be so life changing.

Thank you Marcia for the nice words about my interview.  Blogging is certainly a revolutionary way for information to be published!
