Thursday Thirteen | I Give Myself Very Good Advice

Thanks to This Eclectic Life for a humorous post about bad hotel neighbors. I was inspired to do a TT after reading that post.

Alice in Wonderland sang truth to me when she crooned: “I give myself very good advice but very seldom follow it.”

Here are my 13 elusive guidelines on life and how to live it . . .

  1. Before you fire, ready and aim.
  2. Eat 3 pieces of fruit a day.
  3. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
  4. Read at least 1 book a month.
  5. Have your laundry done and pressed by every Sunday night.
  6. Opt for iced tea or water rather than soda when you dine out.
  7. Spend more time with your kids than any other activity.
  8. Romance your wife often.
  9. Meditate
  10. Pray
  11. Say 3 positives to your son daily.
  12. Walk and exercise daily.
  13. Let the blog go once in a while for God’s sake! ;)

Those are 13 sage rules to follow. I hope you are not like me. While I have the sense to know to do these things, I do not follow through! Very good TT. I think I’ll go take a walk. By the way, you did go to the blog hub and leave a comment didn’t you?

Yes, I sure did. Thanks for that link. I put it in my blogroll.

Good list. Especially about letting the blog go once in a while. But if I drank eight glasses of water a day, I’d spend half my day in the “water closet.”

As I said, I seldom follow it! Ar least we know what to do right?

Let the blog go??? Have you gone mad??? Just teasing!!! I don’t feel obligated to blog everyday. I usually write every day, but if I don’t like it, it doesn’t make the blog!

Great advice! I actually do most of those things every day!!

What’s this “buy me a starbucks” business? I clicked on it, but I didn’t buy you one! lol. Never heard of this!

A fun plugin I came across last night in my travels. I put ot on for a hoot! Who knows, maybe I’ll get a cup of joe one day ;) Link here.
