Christmas Budget
I am currently trying to work out our December budget, and I must say it isn’t pretty for any month, but even worse is that I have to find a way to squeeze in funds for Christmas. Then all of a sudden this comic appeared on my front page…I’d say it is very relevant.

Every year I say I’m going to put away a little for Christmas each week. It never happens because I need that money each week!
After watching some car commercials on TV once, the hubby and I were looking over some receipts and things. We decided we could both probably drive Jaguars for what I spend on groceries every month!
Oh well. Lots of kids are better than fancy cars any day, right???? (much more expensive, though LOL)

Isn’t it amazing how the messages we need to receive end up right in front of us? I’m glad you saw it and posted it, because I needed to see it too!
It’s been a tough year for my small business, but I’m not going to let it affect the joy I find at this time of the year. In the grand scheme of things, the holidays are about family and being together…. that I can afford!

Being a sahm certainly puts a cramp in any budget, but I’ve found that if you streamline your gift giving list you can find the extra funds.
