Thursday Thirteen:

(Visit Boho Rhap for more TT Banners)

One of the perks of having two kids in a relatively short time frame is that you get to use all of the goodies from the first one. This has come as an extreme advantage since our tiniest one is not so easily subdued most of the time. Therefore this Thursday Thirteen is dedicated to the objects that attempt to entertain little britches through out any given day. Be forewarned the manufacturer of most of these toys are “we suck batteries dry in mere minutes” aka “we keep back ups for our own peace of mind”.

The Snugglie, Guitar and Bath are the big guns that come out when all toys, meals, & means to a nap have been exhausted.

    That is so cute.

Is it strange that I think those things look like fun? :)

    Have a great Thursday!

I love that swing. My best friend had one and my little guy LOVED it! It was like one of the only sure ways to get him to zonk out! We was not then, and isn’t now, easily subdued either.

All three of my kids loved the exersaucer. I think we were on kid #2 when one of the chewy toys split open, and I called the manufacturer to see if I could buy a replacement. They sent one out immediately, free of charge. Gotta love that!

    Happy TT!

Look at that happy little water baby!

That is quite the collection of baby entertainment devices. I’ve never had children so most of them look like cute little alien landing crafts to me, especially the blue item.

So, for the uneducated… which one is the “snugglie?” Guitar and bath I get.

This was a fun way to do your 13. Thank you so much for the link. The banner you used today was just perfect for your post.

Rasmenia: Not at all, I think they look fun too, unfortunately the 4 month old doesn’t always agree.

Lesley: The first couple of month she practically lived in this swing, which might explain why she has gotten so sick of it lately.

Kate: Thanks for the insider info. if I have any troubles I will call for a replacement for sure.

Harlekwin: The snuggli is the carrier that straps onto mom and dad. Without fail it has always done the job, but it also require mom or dad to walk around in circles or down the block to get ideal results.

Every single one of those is at mine or my daughter’s house. They are the stars of our sanity! Happy TT

My daughter preferred me! Attachment parenting was my only choice. Still, I had the slings and the Bjorn and she liked neither.

What’s scary is so much of that stuff I didn’t have for Austin and some I didn’t even have for Brendan and he’s only two!

By the way, I just tagged you on my blog :)
