Classroom After Pictures

Yesterday I posted pictures of my blank, empty classroom. Today I got a lot done and I’m posting 3 more “after pics,” although I still have to go in on the weekend to do some final polishing. As the Karate Kid’s Mr. Miagee might say “After AFTER” pics will be posted then!
Here you see I got the desk groups squared away (no pun intended). There isn’t any fun elementary school art up yet . . . that comes later. Like blogs, classrooms must be built from the inside out. It’s a tool with many features.
Ah, hanging butcher paper . . . one of the doldrums of the process. These look rather straight fortunately and I will put the border up later making them great boards to display student work.
I know this looks clutterred, but compare it to yesterday when you couldn’t see the windows (click here to see the before)! Monday I will be having my new class of 30 nine year olds into my humble classroom! I still have miles to go with my room environment (teacher term). Watch for the final pics Sunday night!

You got me with the paper on the wall, I love those colors. We always had boring walls, back in the day.

Looks like you are getting things pretty much in order. Like the colored paper touch.
